The Houston Square and Round Dance Council, Inc. [HSRDC] serves as an umbrella organization for the square, round and clogging clubs in the Houston, Texas area. Its purpose is to educate members and the public to the art of American folk dancing on a regular basis.
One of the things that we hope to accomplish as we move forward is to share
information over the Internet. There is nothing like the Web for sharing relevant,
up-to-date information. The official HSRDC Web site, www.squarethru.com,
exists is for the official business of the HSRDC. An "adjunct" web site,
www.hsrdc.us, has been created to share information of general interest to Houston Area dancers. Links have been provided for Callers and Cuers Directory,
Houston Area Clubs, Errata & Reminders, In Memorium, Links to related Dance Sites,
Pictures, Special Dance Calendar, Where N' When and Where N' When Advertisers.
Pictures of the 2005 & 2006 HSRDC Caller of the Year, Promoters of the
Year, and Supporter of the year
are promininently displayed on the opening page.
If you have something you'd like to share (pictures, links, specials, errata,
etc.) send an e-mail to adjunctinfo@hsrdc.us. If you can, supply scanned images of flyers that you want to share. In order to be included under the "Special Dance Calendar" section, the special dance must be advertised in
the Where N' When.
